Franchise Plan
The Smart Agrivate franchise model is; If the beneficiary is not able to finance the purchase of the business and the necessary training & development. Smart Agrivate has partnered with Openlinks investment unit to finance interested that have managed to acquire 5 5-year assurance business contracts with their respective farmer, the farmer must be willing to sign the cession agreement that will enable financier repayment.
The off-take agreement must be able to service the cost of capital. The feasibility assessment will be based on the estimate of the size of the operation that franchising will require. Once the off-take agreement is in plan and the feasibility phase is able to service the loan requirement, we shall proceed to contracting, minimum initiation fee will be required from the franchisee.
Once the initiation fee, the openlinks investment unit will make the transfer of the required amount. The franchisor will upon receiving prepare onboarding of the franchise, Short-Term Phase & medium-Term Phase.
Franchise Plan:
- Our rollout plan will initiate the business registration and compliance process for the franchise. We will handle all the necessary paperwork, obtaining licenses and permits, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free registration. Our team will diligently take care of compliance with statutory requirements, including UIF, COIDA, SARS, and VAT registration, freeing you to focus on your farming endeavors.

- As we progress, our team will work closely with you to determine the ideal number of employees needed for your farm’s operations. We will assist with the onboarding process and set up a seamless payroll system, ensuring accurate and compliant compensation for your employees, while adhering to statutory requirements.
Medium-Term Phase – Franchise Plan:
Our franchise plan’s success hinges on identifying the right fit for franchisees. We will collaborate closely with you during this phase to pinpoint potential franchisees who share your passion and commitment to sustainable farming practices. Your valuable insights will be instrumental in making these selections.
