Mkhonto Mntwini
CEO
Having matriculated from Adelaide Gymnasium, he went on to complete his NDP Travel and Tourism Management, B Tech in Business Administration (BBA), master’s in Business Administration (MBA), and is now a PhD candidate at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU).
Before venturing into full-time entrepreneurship Mr Mntwini completed a 7-year stint in corporate where he gained valuable experience in sales and marketing. Mkhonto is currently completing his third year, of doctoral studies through the Nelson Mandela Business School. The doctoral research topic can be read as “Social economic development futures for the commercial citrus farming communicates in the Sarah Bartman district towards 2055”
With a focus on understanding the client’s unique needs and the importance of service delivery Mkhonto nurses the firm belief that job creation empowers people. By providing all citizens with a space to be part of the economy, they are then also empowered as a people and thereby are afforded the option to make a meaningful contribution to society.
Mkhonto is the CEO of Mntwini Holdings, a 100% black-owned BEE (Black Economic Empowerment), value-adding supplier with interests in agriculture, finance, human resources, transport, retail, and export sectors.
